This month we’re highlighting a few ways to get more visibility into your claim activity, a quick method to check mortgage company compatibility before submitting a draft, and a look at how AI is beginning to reshape the claims ecosystem. We’ll also introduce you to members of the iink community from customers using the platform every day to the team working behind the scenes to support them.

Check Mortgage Company Compatibility before submitting

Not sure if a mortgage company participates in the iink network? You can easily check directly in the platform.

Simply start a new draft and add the mortgage company listed on the check. If a mortgage company is not currently supported, we will need to contact them directly to process the claim. The system will immediately notify you if the mortgage company does not work with a third party. At that point, you can delete the draft and complete the endorsement outside of iink if needed.

This is the quickest way to confirm compatibility and helps avoid delays when processing claim checks.

Get Daily Visibility with Claim Status Summary Reports

Did you know you can receive a daily summary of all claim activity in your account?

The Claim Status Summary report provides a snapshot of every file in your account, including where each claim is in the endorsement process. This can be especially helpful for teams managing a high volume of submissions or coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

If you'd like, iink can automatically send this report to you each day so you always have a clear view of the status of your claims.

The recent Wolters Kluwer article on practical AI for claims professionals highlights how the insurance industry is entering what experts call a “Great Legal Recalibration,” where AI is moving from experimentation to real operational use across the claims lifecycle. AI tools are already helping claims teams automate tasks such as summarizing claim files, analyzing communications, and surfacing actionable insights so professionals can focus on higher-value decisions. Platforms like iink are bringing this same transformation to property claims payments, using AI-driven process automation to streamline disbursements, reduce manual friction, and accelerate claim resolution. By embedding intelligence directly into payment workflows, iink helps claims professionals, restoration professionals, and mortgage partners deliver faster, more transparent outcomes for policyholders while modernizing the claims ecosystem.
