What’s New & What Matters This Month
Storm season is here, and the firms that move fastest are the ones that are ready before the first claim lands. This month’s iink Pulse highlights platform updates built for higher volume including quick-add recent stakeholders, exportable claim check history and saved dashboard views - along with practical tips to get ahead of the surge. We also break down what the 2026 hurricane outlook means for your pipeline, spotlight Property Loss Group's Kayla T. and introduce another member of The iink Crew.
What's new in the product
This month:
Two updates this month make it faster to start claims and easier to track them - both handy as volume picks up.
Recent Stakeholders
The new dashboard experience will soon be available to all customers, featuring a more streamlined and easier-to-navigate interface. Customers will also be able to see which mortgage company is associated with a check, providing greater visibility into checks with and without mortgage company involvement. A new in-platform banner will notify customers when the updated dashboard is available and provide the option to return to the Legacy Dashboard at any time.
Export Claim Check History
Click Export from the dashboard to download a CSV of claim checks with timestamps for key milestones, including submission, signatures, lender endorsements and clearing.
Saved Dashboard Views
Dashboard filters and searches are now reflected in the URL, so you can bookmark and save any search and filter combination to jump back to it instantly.
Get Ahead of the Surge
Set up your stakeholders now, not mid-storm
Confirm contractors, homeowners and mortgage companies are in iink with consistent contact info before volume hits.
Start every submission with the claim number
So everything downstream connects automatically - faster processing, fewer errors.
Pre-load documents before submitting checks
Loading adjuster reports and settlement letters up front prevents delays once your queue fills up.
Send digital signature requests immediately
To bypass the 24-hour review window.
Check the dashboard before you call
Real-time status visibility saves time when every minute counts.
A Below-Normal Forecast Doesn't Mean a Below-Normal Pipeline
Recent forecasts from NOAA and Colorado State University point to a quieter-than-average 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, but both stress that a single landfall can still drive a surge in property claims, making readiness more important than the headline numbers.
Read NOAA's full 2026 hurricane season outlook
What's driving the outlook:
- A developing strong El Niño expected to suppress Atlantic storm formation
- NOAA forecasting 8–14 named storms, with a 55% chance of a below-normal season
- CSU's June 10 update lowering its forecast to 11 named storms and 5 hurricanes
- A 24% chance of a major hurricane landfall along the continental U.S., versus a 43% long-term average
What this means for iink customers:
Even in a quieter season, it only takes one hurricane making landfall to make it an active season — so the firms that prepare workflows now are the ones that protect turnaround times when volume spikes.
- Stakeholders set up in advance so claims don't stall mid-surge
- Real-time check and claim visibility across all parties
- Centralized document management that absorbs higher volume
- Scalable workflows that hold up without added administrative burden
In their words
Property Loss Group is a Florida Law Firm focused on representing homeowners in disputes with their insurance carriers. We focus on claims that have been denied, delayed, underpaid, or mishandled by insurers. As Property Loss Group’s Legal Assistant and point-of-contact with clients, I handle a wide range of tasks that covers everything from client intake to check processing.
Prior to implementing iink, Property Loss Group was required to obtain physical endorsements from both clients and their mortgage companies, a process that could take weeks and required settlement checks to be mailed back and forth multiple times.
Utilizing iink has made our process much more efficient. Before, we had to keep track of physical checks and coordinate endorsements through the mail, which could take weeks and was difficult to monitor. Now, everything is organized in one place, and we can easily see where each check is in the process, who has signed, and what steps are still outstanding. It has made it much easier to track settlements and move checks through the endorsement process without the delays that came with mailing documents back and forth.
One of the biggest benefits for Property Loss Group has been iink's direct deposit option. Once a check has been fully endorsed, funds can be distributed quickly without having to wait on physical checks to be mailed and deposited. This has helped us get settlement proceeds to our clients and their contractors much faster, reducing delays and making the overall process smoother for everyone involved.
Our clients and partners have responded very positively to the iink process. Clients like being able to sign documents electronically instead of dealing with physical checks and mail. Contractors appreciate how much faster funds can be distributed once the process is complete. Overall, the process is easier to manage, more convenient, and much quicker than the traditional way of handling endorsements.
To anyone considering using iink, I would tell them that if they're still handling settlement check endorsements manually, it's definitely worth looking into. iink has helped us streamline the check endorsement process, keep everything organized in one place, and reduce the amount of time spent tracking down signatures and mailing checks back and forth. The visibility into where each check is in the process and the ability to distribute funds electronically have been major advantages for our firm, our clients, and our contractor partners.

IT Specialist
I'm part of the IT team at iink. My day-to-day involves making sure all our internal apps and systems are running smoothly for our team. No two days are exactly the same, I also build automations to help streamline processes for our coworkers, and I jump in to assist customers whenever they run into any issues with their accounts.
I really enjoy the variety. One moment I'm working on a technical solution behind the scenes, and the next I'm helping a customer get back on track. It keeps things interesting and I always feel like my work is making a direct impact.
One that really stuck with me recently. I had a customer who was struggling to receive his one-time passcode. I could tell he was a bit frustrated, so I took the time to talk him through it step by step, verified his identity, and made sure he got that code. When we were done, he was so happy and grateful. He even told me he wasn't the best with technology, but that he finally felt confident enough to log in and complete his fund transfer. Moments like that are honestly why I love what I do!
There's a lot of work that happens behind the scenes to keep everything running seamlessly. From maintaining systems to building automations, the goal is always to make the experience as smooth as possible for everyone using iink.
Don't hesitate to reach out if something doesn't seem right. We're here to help, and most issues can be resolved quickly when we hear about them early!
Outside of work, I'm pretty active. I enjoy exercising and staying fit. I also love spending quality time with my girlfriend and my dog. And when it's time to unwind, you'll find me gaming always in competitive mode, naturally!
